Personal information and tracking

LEASH does not require a personal account or ask for your name, email address, or phone number. The apps do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location. They do not include advertising or analytics tracking.

Information needed to operate LEASH

The apps store configuration, preferences, relay pairings, and provisioning credentials on your device. To communicate with LEASH equipment, they exchange operational information such as installation and equipment identifiers, equipment labels, relay commands, and status.

Local communication uses your local network. When cloud communication is enabled, operational information passes through Amazon Web Services IoT Core. Cloud connectivity also involves processing network connection information, such as IP addresses. This information supports equipment communication; we do not use it for advertising or sell it.

Storage and deletion

Saved configuration and credentials remain on your device until removed through the app or your operating system’s data-removal controls. The cloud service retains the latest published relay status, which can include identifiers, labels, and recent operational history, until replaced or deleted. Removing the app does not automatically delete information held by a relay or the cloud service. Contact us with requests concerning that information.

Permissions and security

Network permissions allow LEASH to discover and communicate with equipment. Cloud connections use encryption and provisioned certificates for authentication. You can manage permissions through your device settings.
